Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the given coordinates.

Bradman is one of two caches you'll need to find to complete the mystery cache Howzat!, part of the Ovals of St George Series. The other is Golden Jubilee.

Visit each of the WPs to source the information to find the cache. The cache is a micro and contains info required to complete the series. The cache is on the outside of the oval.

Please note: if you found the cache prior to Dec 2015, it has now been relocated due to muggling.
The epic Paul Kelly song "Bradman" gives an excellent summary of the legendary sportsman's life including reference to the fact that:

St George took a gamble, played him in first grade

And this took place at Hurstville Oval.

Between 1902 and 1923 the St George Cricket Association conducted all cricket competition in the district. It was Alderman Blackshaw that was the driving force behind creating a sporting oval on this unused block of land as there were no sporting grounds in the area at the time. In September 1911 the NSW Cricket Association finally accepted the oval with a match between the St George District Cricket Club and an Australian Eleven team of near Test stature. The Don played for St George from 1926 - 1932/33.

Don Bradman was one of a number of cricketing greats who made their names at a club level at Hurstville Oval and then achieved national and international acclaim. Athletics and numerous other sports have flourished here with some of Australia's great runners, hockey players, cyclists, Rugby Union and Rugby League stars in action. You'll also notice that there is a velodrome running around the outside of the oval which is also still in use today.

The Booth - Saunders Pavilion houses an archive of memorabilia that is not open often, but you may be able to sneak a peak of one of The Don's bats if you're lucky. The oval was recently voted the best cricket ground in Sydney 2014-2015 by Sydney Cricket Association first-grade umpires for maintaining its world class standard.

And now for the cache.

At WP1, how many ticket windows are there? This give you a.

At WP2, what number is the historical marker? Add the two digits together to give you b.

At WP3, you'll see a large black structure with numbers on the back. Ignoring the A's, what number is in the bottom right corner position? You now have c.

At WP4, how many see-saw seats? And you've got d.

To find the cache plug your results into the following equation:

S33 57.(d+a)(c-1)(0*b)
E151 05.(b)(a*2)(a+d)

Please use stealth when collecting and replacing the cache as there are ALWAYS muggles doing a variety of things in and around this park (yay for well utilised infrastructure) and there is little cover when retrieving.

Don't forget to take note of the clue required to complete Howzat!

Congrats to birdman2099 for the FTF.
