Growing up in Saskatchewan, tree squirrels were some of my most favorite animals to watch. Not only were they cute but they were also agile and fast. I remember watching them routinely run and jump from tree to tree and rip along the thick cable lines and telephone wire. We placed this hybrid in honor of these cheeky little rodents.
