This location is a hideaway for a unit of EOKA which was a Greek Cypriot nationalist guerrilla organisation. There are various memorials To EOKA fighters to be seen all over Cyprus. This one is a particularly pleasant location which can be driven to on a concrete road or better still walked to when you can admire the views along the valleys.
