Hidden among the glorious setting of Kilmahew Estate this magical walk will take you back to your childhood as you find the characters and learn some of the History of this amazing place.;

WHIRLWIND,

Whirlwind is a character of the air, and will be most at home amongst all the trees in the fresh air, but all alone, she must want to go home to be with the others. Help her home.

SPOTTIES LINN WATERFALL:

In between caches follow the short trail to get to Spotties Linn Waterfall The name of this waterfall sugests a supernatural presence. Spottie is the old Scots word for a will-o’-the-wisp, the woodland sprite who, by a trick of the light, tempted unwary travellers off the beaten track. Do not get tricked into the water. Please take care around the water edge

THE SWAN POND:

The swan pond was designed and made by the Burns family after they brought the estate off the Napier Family, it included an ornimatal island in the middle with pine, berch and cherry trees surrounding it.
