The Finger Lakes Traditional Cache

Your looking for an ammo can hidden in the duck ponds at the north end of Lake Tobesofkee. From what I understand, this area was constructed out of the tailings from construction of the dam and lake back in the late 60s and is now maintained as an area for peaceful shore fishing away from all the recreational boat traffic. I placed this cache here because I didn't know it existed after 26 years of living in the area until a couple of years ago. Bring a pole and a lunch and remember to take your trash with you when you leave. The area is In need of some CITO **EDIT: I placed this cache in the winter and I greatly underestimated how much the foliage rakes over in the summer. WEAR LONG PANTS!!! even though it's only a few yards of walking you'll appreciate them

PLEASE PLACE THE CACHE SECURELY BACK HOW YOU FOUND IT SO IT DOESN'T FALL TO THE GROUND, AND RE HIDE WELL. THIS AREA IS OFTEN VISITED BY MUGGLES
