This cache is placed in our village Kannaviou at a very pleasant spot, but you are going to need to climb some telegraph poles to find it.
We suggest that you drive into the village towards Panagia and just past the coffee shops turn into the Kannaviou Picnic Site on the right. Park there and walk through the site, crossing the river on the footbridge and out the rear exit. Turn right and bear round to the left where a little way along the observant will spot the telegraph poles on the left. The unobservant will simply continue and get lost!
Please take great care as you start your climb and work your way to the top. There are several poles to climb until you can establish where ground zero is and find the cache, a plastic container with log, pencil, sharpener, and peg.
After signing the log enjoy the 360 degree view where you can see Kannaviou village, the Dam, the Ezousa Valley and the Fyti hill with the mast on top. Take care returning and don't slither down the poles – you may get splinters.
