Waddy Island is located at the eastern end of Lake Victoria near the western tip of the Boole Poole Peninsula. The area around Waddy Island features a complex of island, channels and shallow sand banks. Water is shallow for navigation (about 3 feet) and is outside the main channel, but you can get most boats carefully right up to GZ via the eastern side of the island - there's a small sand area to beach a boat. Getting here is a great reason to go out onto the Lakes and explore somewhere different.
The container is well suited to protect against rain and flooding. BYO pen, boat and insect repellant. Watch for local inhabitants of the island, mainly 8 legged variety. We found hundreds of them.
