Unser Sohn Noah ist im Jahr 2014 6 Jahre alt geworden. Neben der Einschulung und den damit verbundenen vielen Dingen, die Noah nun lernen darf, kam auch die Herausforderung dazu, sich die Schuhe selbst binden zu können.
Our son Noah was six years old in 2014. He started school and besides the school related things he is now able to learn, an additional challenge materialized now: being able to tie his shoes by himself.
Im Herbst bin ich mit Noah zum Schuhladen gegangen und wir haben uns Winterschuhe für ihn ausgesucht. Das gewünschte Model war eines mit Schnürsenkeln.
In fall I went shoe shopping with him to get some winter shoes. We decided for shoes with shoelaces.

Lange Zeit war das Wetter noch gut (=warm) genug, um weiterhin die Schnürsenkel-losen Schuhe anzuziehen. Also wenig Anreiz, das Schuhe Binden zu lernen.
Doch mit der Zeit wurde es kälter und ich habe Noah versprochen, dass wir gemeinsam einen weiteren Cache auslegen werden (den zweiten), sobald er es gelernt hat.
Diese Motivation war so stark, dass er noch am selben Nachmittag ohne Probleme gelernt hat, sich selbst die Schuhe zu binden.
For quite some time the weather was still good (=warm) enough for him to continue wearing his other shoes without shoelaces. So, not a lot of motivation to learn how to tie shoes...
But soon later the weather got colder and I promised Noah that we would place another cache (the second one) as soon as he learned it.
Guess what - the motivation was strong enough for him to learn it the same afternoon.
Ich bin sehr stolz auf ihn!!!
I am very proud of him!!!
Leider hat es nun doch ein Weilchen gedauert, bis der Cache ausgelegt war - es sollte ja dieses Mal kein Traditional sein sondern ein Mystery.
