Geocache Description:

Cache # 220.

This is a short off-set multi.  You will need to gather some information from the Londrigan Station Site Sign before making your way to find the cache.

Welcome to the Londrigan Station Site, where today, very little evidence of the station or platform remains.  Construction of the line linking Wangaratta and Beechworth commenced in 1ABC, with the railway playing a pivotal part in rural life carrying mail and farm produce. The telephone exchange operated from the Londrigan Station and in the 1DEF's the steel required to build the Cocks Eldorado dredge was off-loaded using a large crane assembled on site.  The station closed to passengers in 1DGE and continued carrying goods traffic until its complete closure in 1DBC.

The cache can be found at S36 20.(B-G)(C)(D-B)  E146 25.(C-E)(A)(G-E)

The container is micro-size and you will need to bring your own PEN.  No signature and the online log will be deleted.

CONGRATULATIONS - FTF - mlroberts73!
