Welcome to Playa Zancudo! We've been coming here since 1999; too many times to count. And since there's a shortage of Geocaches in Costa Rica I am hosting this simple cache series. This installment wants to be your friend.
Playa Zancudo is a fantastic out of the way escape destination. I come here to reset. The beach is long, flat, and deserted. The houses and cabinas are private and awesome.
This cache is a simple hide. I want you to find the cache, so please contact me if you have any issues finding it, or for a blatant hint before attempting. You've come all this way, you deserve a smiley. If you have found the others, this one is no challenge. HOWEVER, this one has a higher muggle risk, watch out for prying eyes from the store.
Hopefully it will last but this is a hostile climate. I have arranged with a local business owner to help perform maintenance on the cache should the need arise. They will be able to replace the container should it get lost or destroyed. I will be able to perform maintenance on it myself. It is a magnetic bolt cache. Find it! But please place it back exactly as found, or else it will get muggled. Keep it out of view! Tweezers or a TOTT would help extract the log.
UPDATE 2023: Looks like this place and the sign is in disrepair with no indication of being restored. this is likely the last time I will replace this cache.
