They began as an East Coast band called Soft White Underbelly, and in 1971 changed their name to The Blue Öyster Cult. The Bands manager wanted to promote them as a Strong American Rock Band answer to Black Sabbath. One of the Best Double Live Albums from 1975 (album cover above) was "On Your Feet or On your Knees"; Songs; The Subhuman, Harvester of Eyes, Hot Rails to Hell, The Red & The Black, Seven Screaming Dizbusters, Last Days of May, Cities on Flame, ME262, Before the Kiss (A Redcap), Maserati GT (I ain’t got you), Born to be Wild and of course Buck’s Boogie. The 1975 line up, Eric Bloom, Donald “Buck Dharma” Roeser, Allen Lanier, Joe Bouchard and Albert Bouchard. They had an awesome stage appearance with fantastic light shows, followed up with a five member electric guitar jam.
