Geocache Description:

This cache is another in the series to be placed between Callala Bay and the Myola Spit

WHAT FISH IS THAT?

I’ve got a rod, I’ve got a line

I need a fish to make it fine

I’ll cast my hook into the sea

To catch a fish to have for tea

What type of fish will I catch

From the list I will match

They’ll take the bait I’m sure it’s fate

And then they end up on my dinner plate

This area is very busy in holiday time with many boats using the Callala Bay boat ramp to access Jervis Bay. It is a great place for swimming, diving and fishing.

Walk around the rock ledge at low tide to see tiny sea life in the rock pools.

If you look straight ahead you will see where the bay enters the ocean. Sometimes during their southern migration whales come into the bay and create a wonderful experience for watchers.

The cache can only be replaced in one spot – take care when retrieving it and replacing. The log is small you need only to log your initials.  Watch out for muggles!

CONGRATULATIONS to Rock hopper for the FTF and keeping ahead of RR and WS well done 😊
