This cache is placed in a field owned by Mr Cedric Bradbury who owns the nearby Green Lane Farm and has kindly granted me permission to place caches on any of his land. As it is on private property it will hopefully be muggle proof and allow you plenty of time to solve the puzzle away from muggles thinking " I wonder what they're up to!". This farm has diversified over recent years and now operates a coarse fishing lake, holds modern pentathlon events and is also a campsite catering for both caravans and tents all in a beautiful scenic location. I've known Mr Bradbury for a while now and during a random conversation one day Geo-Caching came up. Whilst looking for logs on his farm one day he came across a prime log that he was going to chop up for firewood, however as he investigated further this was no ordinary log...... What he had found was the Chorley Circular 4 which is a cache hidden inside a log with a fake lid. He showed this to his daughters who looked it up on the net and they are now avid cachers.....!! Sometime later we we're talking about geo-caching again and Cedric kindly offered to allow me to use his land to place caches on as he loves the idea of people going out and exploring the countryside.
For further information on the farm and what it has to offer look it up on the internet or call 01543 677870. The cache is indeed a puzzle. Find the cache and hopefully all will become obvious. PAF's are available if you need them!! The advised parking is at the nearby Nags Head PH, where you can have a drink afterward to toast your success too!!!
