This is a walk I often subject visitors too if they tell me they like walking. It certainly sorts the men from the boys, with the boys coming out on top.
There are two starting points, the one from the beach in Myrtleville is the shorter route but is more difficult, this route should take about 15 mins to GZ. From the beach in Fountainstown is longer and you have wade across a stream at the beginning of the walk, but after that it is easier, marginally. Sturdy 6 year old children should manage ok, this way will take about 30 mins to GZ
You will need good walking boots or shoes, the rocks can be slipper and sharp. There are plenty of places along here for a secluded dip in the sea and even a diving platform half way along. If you decide to do the whole walk from Myrtleville to Fountainstown you can come back to the car along the road above the cliffs but there is no access to the cache from the road
