Matthew Henson was the first African American Arctic Explorer, which kind of makes him like a geocacher in the winter climates here. The park named after him is a greenway along the Turkey Branch of Rock Creek. The park runs from Aspen Hill to Layhill, Maryland, linking the Rock Creek Trail with the Sligo Creek Trail.
Ok, ok, ok. When there are so many bridges, you start running out of bridge puns. Billy Goats Gruff references are so cliche, and don't get me started on trolls. Does this count as original? This cache is a matchstick container hidden at a bridge on the Matthew Henson Trail. Remember to use stealth and hide better better than you found.
