Coordinates of a Different Color Mystery Cache

This cache is located within the Steamboat Rock Recreation Area South, a unique area of rock formations, old-growth Junipers, and relics from old irrigation canals. The area is a patchwork of public and private land, so please use given parking coordinates so you don't accidentally end up on someone's property, or see the BLM map

Atkinson Ave. is divided by the Deschutes River, so follow these directions to get to the parking area: from Redmond, drive west toward Sisters on Highway 126. After you pass the turnoff to Eagle Crest, go a few more miles then turn right (north) on NW 101st Street. Some online maps refer to NW 101st as "Reimer Rd". Follow 101st for a few miles then turn left on NW 91st St then right on NW Yucca Ave, then left on NW 83rd St, then right on NW Atkinson Ave. Park at the end of Atkinson.
