Geocache Description:

Well, I needed to find another little hill on which to hide my new Toblerone cache, since the original was smashed to smithereens by logging equipment. So, I looked around using GE and sure enough I located the perfect hill and it was named Toblerone 2, now isn't that just amazing! During winter it will be a 6 km hike with about 80 m of elev gain, in summer it will be just over 2 kms with a 60 m elev gain

View from Summer parking and Trailhead

During summer you can park right at the trail head at R1. During winter you will have to park at the Elbow Falls PRA gate and walk a few kms to the trailhead. From R1 head down the steep road fill rubble and follow a trail down to Rainy Creek. Walk along the creek for 20 or 30 meters to R2 which marks a reasonable creek crossing and then go up the obvious trail to the high bench above the river. Follow the trail until it stops heading in the correct direction and then continue slowly climbing as the high bench rises to its culmination at a rocky little summit. The rocky summit is clearly visible on GE.

The cache is hidden at the summit under a huge boulder behind a few rocks. It is marked by a small cairn (spoiler). The finders cards are dated May 2014 as that was when I constructed the cache and it took me longer than I anticipated to find a suitable place to put it.

The route has been flagged.
