Givat HaGatot (B-day cache) Traditional Cache

My first cache, hidden on jdevor's birthday (and with his help).

The container is a small clear plastic box hidden at ground-level, among some rocks at the base of an old wall. You DO NOT need to remove rocks from the wall itself.

The location was selected on a family trip, with Amit, jdevor, TamarSD, and myself. I visit this beautiful vista point often, so I thought it would be a good spot to place a cache. We chose a location near the top of the hill, just off the path. Getting there will require less than 10 minute walk along a well-marked walking trail. Along the trail you will see several ancient sites that were used for the production of oil and wine (gatot). Visiting during spring will treat you for a myriad of wild flowers, including Mustard, Cyclamens (Rakafot), and Anemones (Kalaniot).

I started things off, among other things, with an unregistered TB as an FTF prize.
