The Paleisheuwel Road is mainly used by farmers and therefore a peacefull alternative to the N7 This one end road is at the top of Piekenierskloof and the other end joins the N7 at about 5km from the Clanwilliam Dam There is an alternative turnoff halfway thru to the N7. Most of the way is tarred, but there is a decent gravel road in between The caches is placed on the Red Route
