Consisting of 119 acres of wetlands, woodlands and meadows, Black Rock Sanctuary is dedicated to wildlife habitat and public use. You are entering Black Rock Sanctuary. A reclaimed area from coal silt dredging operations turned in to beautiful Meadows, wetlands and wetland plants. So valuable to our fragile eco-System.
Find your way to the Basin Trail. Follow your Geo Instincts. Good Luck and be respectful of the park rules. The gates may NOT even be open depending on conditions. BYOP and EXTRACTION DEVICE
It is on High Ground just off the trail. There may be flood or high water all around but the cache will not be under water. JUST RELOCATED 68' from original.
