Geocache Description:

This cache is a tribute to just a few of the many men who have served our country and paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

The posted coordinates are NOT the location of the cache…they are the starting point for solving this cache.

Begin by finding the starting point, which is a monument with the name Grieve. I felt this was appropriate as we grieve for the men and women who have served our country and are no longer with us. Next to the Grieve monument, you will find one of the tombstones that you need to find.

As this is a puzzle cache, there is a puzzle to decipher which will lead you to the final coordinates of the cache.

This is a cemetery puzzle cache. Please be respectful of the area. The cemetery does not allow visitors after dark so this is a daytime only cache.

Your mission is to find each of these tombstones and to reflect upon these men who so selflessly served our country.

All of the tombstones that you need to find for this puzzle, will be in the same section of the cemetery as the starting point.

The final coordinates of the cache are:

N 38 AB.GDF W 095 EC.FDA

Fill in the letters in the final coordiates above with the numbers you will find on the individual tombstones.

A = Sergeant Hanley Stewart, a WWI veteran – 2nd digit of the day he passed

B = Dr. William Hall, a military physician of WWII – 2nd digit of the year he was born

C = Private First Class Melvin Williams, a WWII veteran – 3rd digit of the year he was born

D = Private William Hiltebrand, a WWI veteran – Digit of the day he was born

E = Private First Class Earl Snider, a WWI veteran – 2nd digit of the day he was born

F = Private First Class Bobbie Bryan, a Korean War veteran – 3rd digit of the year he was born
