Date: March 14, 2015
Time: 8-9 a.m.
Celebrate the Pi Day of the Century, a once-in-a-lifetime event in which the first 10 digits of Pi will be achieved at 9.26.53 a.m. (3.141592653), by joining us for a 30-minute meet and greet from 8-8:30 a.m.
Grab your favorite morning beverage on the way and then let's share ideas for unique cache containers and/or amazing cache placements. We will also swap any trackables that want to travel to places near and far.
We will initially meet in the hotel lobby at a seating area near the front doors. Your hostess will be holding a handheld GPSr and a Pi Day t-shirt in an attempt to make her identity obvious for "those in the know." This will be a good opportunity to meet some other geocachers, so please stop by and earn your Pi Day event souvenir! At 8:30 a.m., we will begin the Pi Day 1K for anyone who wishes to participate. This will take the group on a short walk through the neighborhood. We may even find some pie!
Hope to see you there!
