Welcome to the yellow group, consisting of Atlantic Ave, Ventnor Ave and Marvin Gardens. This group is the sixth one encountered on the Monopoly game board, and contains one of the properties on the board that does not match a real place in Atlantic City. The real location is spelled Marven Gardens - but has never appeared that way in the game.
For this cache you will need to collect some information from the Monopoly artifacts in the cache. Please do not remove anything from the cache that is specific to the Monopoly game itself - in other words, trading swag is fine but do not remove any Monopoly related articles. Once you find the information you need, make a note of it - you will need it later!
In order to collect the hotel cache for the yellow, you must, just like in the game, collect finds on the entire yellow group. The information you collect from the properties will lead you to the hotel. Collect the hotels from all of the color groups, and you will be able to find the final bonus cache and win the game! (Yes, just like a real game of Monopoly, this may take you a couple of hours!)
Oh! Before I forget! When you play the Monopoly game there is an added randomizing factor that players must contend with - Chance and Community Chest cards! These cards throw an element of uncertainty into the game, as the players' movement is not related to the throw of the dice. What would a Monopoly themed series of caches be without incorporating the cards? So - in each of the caches you will find a Chance or a Community Chest card that you may - or may not - need to follow. Make sure you pay attention to these cards! (But please, no matter what - DON'T TAKE THEM!)
Finally, here's a little piece of Monopoly trivia for you, from the Hasbro Gaming website:
1980-2000 MONOPOLY develops strategic partnerships (MONOPOLY at McDonald’s promotion) and brand extensions (first CD-Rom game) becoming a recognizable cultural icon including becoming a US postage stamp!
