I've placed a few caches in honor of my Dad, and to give us a different side of this fun hobby to chat about.

My Dad is about to have is 82^nd birthday in a couple weeks. I call him often - he lives in another state - just to chat and to see what he's up to and he frequently asks me "so what's going on with "your hobby?" He seems to enjoy the stories I tell of my adventures, where I go, what interesting places and things I've found, and who I have met along the way. Sometimes the conversations go a different way, where he's wondering how come I haven't been bothered by the local LEOs and I tell him I try to be stealthy. He claims the people in his small city are paranoid and if they saw someone staring at a pine tree or a guard rail or wandering around behind a local establishment, they'd call the authorities
