Geocache Description:

Throughout 1877-1984 Bell was the telephone company to much of the United States and Canada. Today, especially in Utah, we have majorly Century Link and Comcast providing land line telephone service. But as many people have choosen to get rid of land lines most people have choosen to use cell phones instead. Very rarely will you come across a Bell Systems poll/tower. This was an interesting find to us. Thought a look at the past of telephone systems is pretty neat.

This poll is free of electricity and is safe. Parking is limited by the coordinates, so you will have to park on the west side of the street or just south of the coordinates. Be discreet, like Superman in the phone booth, a lot of traffic and muggles. Please position cache as you found to protect from the weather.
