Where:
The east end of the parking lot for Bow Falls near the interpretive signs and picnic tables. (It's a lovely spot - dont forget your camera!)
What/When:
4:00-4:10: try to spot the other geocachers amongst all the muggles.
4:10-4:20: Sign the log, socialize, record/trade trackables and grab a ticket for the draw.
4:20: Group photo for the geocaching website & draw for the geocoin.
4:30: Wrap up (with the possibility of moving the party to town with our new found caching friends).
Why:
A nearby hotel is hosting a national Museums Conference and a couple of us cachers are trying to help the museum folks get into the fantastic world of geocaching. We will be spending the day giving them a rundown of basics, and we hope to end off the day by convincing them to attend their first real geocaching event! So come on out, enjoy the wonderful setting, and show these new geocachers what an amazing community we have.
If that isn't motivation enough - there will be a draw for a new geocoin.
Happy Caching.
