Geocache Description:

A good gravel road in the ONF where the Florida Trail crosses and you can pull off the road safely.  These caches are dedicated to Snowbirds and their friends everywhere.  Enjoy a few highlights of some of the places we have gone or where we would like to visit THIS IS NOT A PARK AND GRAB

The 11th State Admitted to the Union-July 26, 1788.  The capital is Albany.  There are many great places to go and see in this state.  We are NOT big city folks, so we picked a region that was near to the Oldest New York State cache.  It is described as the Grand Canyon of the East.  It also has a Nascar Track in Watkins Glenn and hundreds of wineries and vineyards.  Some of the wines you can taste and some you would love to have in the gallon size.  Whatever your pleasure, drink in some of what New York has to offer you.
