This is one in a series of caches placed along the shore of the Ottawa River, going westward from the public parking at Shirley's Bay. These caches MUST be accessed from the river, there is no public access from land. The starting point is P1. There is plenty of public parking and a boat launch. For the entire series, the round trip from P1 is less than 5km.
In summer, the caches can be accessed by boat. There is a boat launch at P1. Some wading may be required.
In winter, skis or snowshoes are recommended. When the caches were placed in 2015, a snowmobile track that went within 50m of all caches made for an easy trek to the caches.
