Geocache Description:

Celebrating Pi Day! Are you an avid souvenir hunter? Or just want to mingle with other cachers on a hopefully sunny afternoon? Then this could be the event for you. An opportunity for a pint (or orange juice) with your pi as you watch the river flow by and hopefully solve the mystery cache (or two) planned to go live on the day.

An event by the river at the Ferry Inn in Stokesby. A family friendly pub where well behaved pets and children are welcome. It would be nice to meet fellow cachers for a Mardle and a chance to grab a couple of geocaching souvenirs available only on the day. One souvenir for attending the event and one for logging a mystery cache. I'm hoping to have two themed, not too difficult, ones go live during the event. For one a calculator may be helpful. For the other, well you may need to know the answer to one of lifes little mysteries..... what is the favorite flavor of pi? Yes! I have spelt it in American for a reason. Also hoping to have a couple of new traditional caches as well. Alternatively just have a pi and a pint, we will be happy to see you either way.

Event takes place between 3 and 5pm on Saturday 14th March 2015. Pub has a large car park and plenty of parking on the staithe also. Food is served at the pub between 12 and 9pm, so it is possible to arrange to have a meal either before or after the event. You can check the pubs website for the menu. The pub has advised that if larger numbers (15 and above) want to eat after the event it would be a good idea to pre-order, but they seem pretty flexible. When logging possible attendance can you indicate roughly how many are likely to attend and if they want to eat either before or after the event
