GPD's cache series for 2015 will take you to wooded areas in our park system where you will visit both past and current sites involved in maple syrup production.
This cache is located in Beartown Lakes Reservation in Auburn Township where Francis Yaxley ran a sugar bush. All that remains today are the healed tap holes in the maple trees SW of the lake.
The park is open until 11pm daily. Link to trail map.
Cache will expire 1/31/16.
