Geocache Description:

The Faulkner-Blanchard Motor Car Co. Detroit, Michigan 1910

The Faulkner-Blanchard Motor Car Co. of Detroit, Michigan build an American Automobile. Production of the Faulkner-Blanchard "Gunboat Six" was limited to 1910. The Faulkner-Blanchard was designed by Frederick W. Blanchard and M. A. Faulkner was president.

The Faulkner-Blanchard was equipped by six cylinder engine that developed 33 horsepower. This was a little known automobile offered a five passenger Touring car for $2,500. We are looking for Faulkner-Blanchard automobile photographs or vintage advertising for this web page. In the mean time enjoy this Eisemann Magneto advertisement from a vintage 1917 magazine.

The Eisemann Magneto was so dependable and efficient that over 100 American Automobile manufacturers adopted them as standard equipment. The Eisemann Magneto Co. was located in Detroit, Michigan. Advertising claims included Speed-Power - they call for perfect ignition - a spark so flashing burning hot that the mixture doesn't matter. Richest mixture to leanest, you'll get a full explosion every time if you have an Eisemann Magneto.
