Crater Lake trail is one of Cordovas most popular trail systems. It has the best views and connections to other trails on the Eyak mountain range. You can access this one from the Ski Hill trail or Crater Lake trail. It makes for a good Bike, Hike, and Shoe trip over the top of the Ski Hill! Enjoy!! Keep an Eye out for the Eagles circling above and the planes flying below!!
The trail up the mountain is tough at times and will take 1/2- and hour to get there. Morning is the best for sunshine on the trail and seeing the forest with a different light shining thru! The hike is steep at times but very do-able in the time frame. This trail leads to the other ridge trails that also have caches on them as well as cabins. Check before you do for availability etc.
