Geocache Description:

Ahhhh, Math class...word problems. So what is the relationship between pi(π) and a circle again?

I was in the parking lot doing donuts in the snow with my trusty winter friendly car and it's summer tyres waiting for the pi day event to begin. But as often happens my mind began to wander into the trivia of silliness.

I began thinking how big I’d have to make a pie to be the biggest pie for the Guinness book of world records. Without looking it up I figured a pie with a radius of 50 ft should be enough. This parking lot looks big enough for such a pie. Perhaps we could figure out how to bake one someday. To get an idea about how big this would be I took a string and outlined my planned pie in the parking lot. It was round and perfect. Suddenly a runaway snowmobile caught the end of my string and drug it across the lot in the direction of 100π-12.5  One end somehow got entangled on the nearby US Post Office box. Wondering how far it led, I followed it to its other end and there, for some strange reason, was a geocache. I'm not sure how this would help me with my dreams of breaking the Guinness record for pie. Then I realized a Guinness and pie at the nearby pi event was just what I needed to ponder this.

If you collect this cache on the century's most accurate pi day 3/14/15, you will gain a souvenir.
