Geocache Description:

Roadside apple trees are a common occurance around rural New Zealand roads.  Some are remnants of old orchards, but most have popped up through people throwing apple cores on the side of the road.

This cache is located near one such tree, as you drive through the Taylor Pass.  Please be very careful on this road.  It is not suitable for large vehicles, campervans or caravans.  There are some very tight narrow blind corners, so travel around them slowly and watch for other traffic.  Road is gravel and can get rough.  It is also prone to floods at 3 fords, if they look deep they probably are.

This should be an easy park and grab.  Plenty of room just over the bridge.
