Suomessa vielä 1900-luvulla pitkäperjantaina ei käyty kylässä, ravintolat oli suljettu eikä järjestetty tanssitilaisuuksia. Aikoinaan pitkänäperjantaita vietettiin ankarana paastopäivänä....
