Event time: 3pm-4pm(ish maybe 5?)
Location: Not quite at the Coordinates, but in the parking lot very nearby.
Parking available near GZ also outside the spire cricket pavilion.
Gear Required: Gumboots/footwear you can get muddy, Gloves, Plastic bags, and a Great Attitude!
International CITO Weekend is April 24 – April 27
CITO weekend will be here before you know it. In case you haven’t heard, CITO stands for Cache In Trash Out. It’s the geocacher’s approach to keeping our game board (i.e. the entire planet) in great shape.
On the weekend of April 24 – April 27, geocachers around the globe will gather together, pick up trash, remove invasive species, repair trails and more—plus earn a pretty sweet new souvenir.
Well last time I came here to replace a cache I had a look in the mangrove areas and saw a whole lot of rubbish.
So why not come around and pick up a few(LOTS) bits of rubbish each and do our bit for the local area.
