The Taranaki Cycle Park was officially opened on the 2nd September 2012. It is situated at Hickford Park, Bell Block adjacent to the foreshore pathway - a few kilometres on from the Te Wera Bridge. It may be accessed by road from Bell Block, down Parklands Av, then follow the signs down Smeaton Rd.
The cycle park includes a 1.75km closed road circuit with two separate 1km loops and a 333m velodrome. It is open 24/7 and is free for individuals to use UNLESS BOOKED for an event or activity.
The given co-ords will take you to the main gates of the park. Answer the following questions to get your final co-ords.
Co-ords

B = Number of flag poles at the Velodrome – 2.
C = Number of block columns that make up the entrance way – 9.
D = Date of the month opened – 2.
E = Number of posts with round tops that make up the post and rail road fence, both sides of entranceway. Use either digit of this number.

No geochecker but A+B+C+D+E+V+W+X+Y+Z = 30
If walking on the road circuit please walk clockwise as the cyclists go anticlockwise and you’ll be able to see them coming towards you.
