Geocache Description:

Did you know that 3.14 backwards is PIE?!?! In honor of National Pi Day (March 14th!!) we have hidden a special Puzzle Cache in Ripley, NY!! The cache is NOT at the provided location!! Instead, you'll need to use the provided coordinates to solve the Puzzle below, and obtain the coordinates for the physical cache!!

One day, Dove78 and Mrs. Yoder, decided to spend a sunny Spring Day hiding a handful of caches in and around Ripley, NY. Before leaving home, Mrs. Yoder had taken five warm cherry pies out of the oven. After gifting one to Dove78, and hiding another, she left the last three, sitting on the counter in the kitchen to cool.

While the two ladies were out enjoying the beautiful weather, and debating the best type of cache container (nanos, won of course!), Mr. Yoder returned home from his job in the WestUpon returning home, he discovered the three delicious cherry pies. Now, cherry pie happens to be one of Mr. Yoder's favorites, and as a result he quickly ate an entire pie, subtracting the total by a pie. As luck would have it, as Mr. Yoder reached for a napkin to clean the pie crumbs from his beard, he realized Mrs. Yoder had left him a note on the napkin!! The note clearly stated that Mr. Yoder was not to eat the pies, as they were meant for an upcoming caching event!! Oh No!! What to do?!

After some quick thinking, Mr. Yoder remembered that just North, there was an excellent little bakery, who often had pies for sale!! Immediately, Mr. Yoder drove to the bakery, and purchased a single pie. Returning home, he added to the total by a pie. Phew!! Just in the knick of time too, as Mrs. Yoder returned home shortly after!!

Upon returning home, Mrs. Yoder, was very impressed to find that Mr. Yoder had actually managed to resist eating any of the freshly baked pies!! Mrs. Yoder decided to quickly reward Mr. Yoder, by telling him that during today's adventures she had hidden an entire delicious cherry pie for him!! Now, even though Mr. Yoder had already (unbeknownst to Mrs. Yoder) ate an entire pie earlier, there was no way he was passing up this reward, and he quickly set off to find it!! Upon finding it, he ate the pie, but, rumor has it he left one piece behind.... Do you think you can find it?!?!

Upon solving, please be respectful of the area through which you will travel to reach GZ, and no night-caching!!

Congrats to Faith42 and Caddy Daddy on the shared FTF!!
