This is the ninth challengs I would have to place in honor of my favorite albums. The challenge will be to find caches for each of the tracks on a given album. The rules are as followed:
- You must find a different cache for each of the tracks of the album.
- If the song title has multiple words, I will take any words in the title except conjunctions (and, or, but, nor, yet, so, for), articles (a, an, the), and short prepositions (in, to, of, at, by, up, for, off, on). I will make the words I will accept in BOLD.
- The words must appear in the cache title and can't be part of another word. (ie: dishrag is not allowed for rag.)
- You can have found the caches at anytime.
This time it is back to an album I listen to a lot in high school and still do from time to time. Guns & Roses Appetite for Destruction is an amazing hard rock album. The album was ranked 32 on Rock Hall of Fame's 'definitive 200' album list.
I think all of these can be found currently in the Bay Area.
- "Welcome To The Jungle"
- "It's so Easy"
- "Nightrain" (I will allow for either Night or Train even though the title is one word.)
- "Out Ta Get Me"
- "Mr. Brownstone"
- "Paradise City"
- "My Michelle"
- "Think About You"
- "Sweet Child O' Mine"
- "You're Crazy"
- "Anything Goes"
- "Rocket Queen"
I like challenges and I love music and this seems like a fun way to mix the two. Feel free to place your own cache in the series if you like the idea. (Feel free to use the banner as well.) I would love to see others favorite albums and would like the challenge of completing them.
I am excited to add an album challenge to a series of caches I have been placing in McLaren Park. All of these caches are creative hides that might take a little time to figure out at the GZ. McLaren is an amazing urban park that has flown under the radar for many years. I walk my dog here almost every day and am excited to place a few caches here to share this park with others. This one is located on one of the best trails in the park. For many years the SF Parks & Rec department has basically ignored this park and let it fall into a state of disrepair. Lately people have been discovering this park again but there are still large sections of the park that remain almost unused. Parts of this park border the Sunnydale projects so I would not cache here at night.
This cache is not for everyone and it is very possible you will get to the GZ and decided you will have to let this one go. Neither I nor geocaching.com are liable for any injuries that may result from an unprepared pursuit of this cache! Please only attempt to retrieve the Cache if you feel physically up for the challenge. The start is tricky and a puzzle in its own way. (See hint if you need one.) Beware of dead things. Also remember, it is easier to get there than get back.
