Some Pi trivia for you:

  • Pi = 3.1415926535897932384626433… or 3.14 for short.
  • By measuring circular objects, it has always turned out that a circle is a little more than 3 times its width around.
  • Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference (perimeter of the circle) to its diameter (the distance across it).
  • For any circle, the principle is, without exception, universal — meaning it's always the same whether it’s applied to a merry-go-round, a dinner plate, or a bicycle wheel.
  • The ancient Babylonians knew of pi's existence nearly 4,000 years ago. A Babylonian tablet from between 1900 and 1680 B.C. calculates pi as 3.125, and the Rhind Mathematical Papyrus of 1650 B.C., a famous Egyptian mathematical document, lists a value of 3.1605.
  • In the Greek alphabet, pi is the 16th letter. In the English alphabet, p is also the 16th letter, further proving pi is the same in every language.
  • The record for the most digits of pi memorized belongs to Chao Lu, of China, who recited pi from memory to 67,890 places in 2005, according to The Guinness World Records.
  • Albert Einstein was born on Pi Day.
  • In the year 2015, Pi Day had special significance on 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 a.m. and p.m., with the date and time representing the first 10 digits of pi.
  • Pi Day has been observed in many ways, including eating pie, throwing pies, discussing the significance of the number pi and in geocache hides and events.

The listed coords are bogus, so you'll have to solve the pi problem below to come up with the cache coordinates.

Pi = 3.1415…

P+i = 8

P*i = 15
