As a result the LCWA has begun a restoration program and this cache is right in the center of it and may eventually have to move. Keep a lookout for these happy critters.
Smiley Travel Bug and much swag awaits FTF.
This is a traditional cache located at the Sawgrass Island Preserve (at the north end of Lake Yale at the Marion County line) and approved by the Lake County Water Authority. The preserve has varied topography from sawgrass swamp to upland forest to prairie and about 11 miles of trails, picnic areas and a primitive campsite. Open daily from sunrise to sunset.

Don’t be in a hurry, enjoy the trails; there is a couple of ways to return to the start. Sign in at the gate and take a brochure with the trail layouts and information.
The caches are designed to be low impact with very little bushwhacking. Stay on the trails as much as possible.
