The park covers an area of 400 acres with several miles varied walks catering for all ages and abilities. Enjoy a mixture of scenery as you pass through from parkland path to riverside walk, woodland and forest or open hill to loch shore.
Located within the visitor centre is a display on the history of Eglinton Country Park, covering aspects dating back to who held title of the land at the time of the Norman Conquest, through the years of expansion, improvement right up to the present day with details of the developement towards country park status.

The cache is placed opposite the small tree plantation which the park has started. The public can arrange to plant a tree in memory of a loved one.
You will need a pen or pencil.
