This cache is located at Tankersley Lake and is named after my first ever multi-stage cache find “Worm Tree” by Buffalo Scout. The Original “Worm Tree” was archived long ago so I decided that this location deserved a cache to replace it. While the terrain rating may seem high, the cache really isn’t that difficult to retrieve and I believe people of all ages could do this one as long as they have reliable knees.
You can pull in near the VFW and park your car at the boat ramp parking lot. While in the area be sure to give Redicer's 5-star "King in Yellow" a shot as well. After pulling up the coords for "Worm Tree Revived" you can begin in the direction that should lead you to a locked gate. Fortunately there is an entry way to the right of the gate for you to walk through. While there is a short hike to GZ there will be plenty of cover and shade for you to finish up the hunt when you arrive. Please be aware of your surroundings and respect the wildlife throughout your search. This cache is not going anywhere anytime soon so please remember to sign the log appropriately. This is a traditional cache with a twist. No special tools are needed and please do not post any pictures with the cache in sight in your log.
