I did this 2 years ago and why not do it in Whangarei, though a lot smaller.
I CANT PASS THIS ONE UP!!!!
I have decided to go with the theme of the day and make it a bit of fun!
It just happens to be on
STAR WARS DAY:
May the Fourth be with you.
When: Monday May 4th
Time: Begin: 8.30pm -9.00pm
Where: Approx the co-ordinates, Near the Large Pohutukawa tree.
What to bring:
1 X Lightsaber,
What ever you can find that is a lightsaber.
If you have a LED saber... bring it,
If you have a plastic Lightsaber...bring it,
If you have a Masters replica lightsaber... Bring it!
If you dont have one, borrow one, if you can't borrow one make one or use your imagination.
Use a cut down pool Noodle, use a short broom stick painted your favourite lightsaber colour.
If you have a JEDI or SITH robe, why not wear it...
One more thing to bring... A great Attitude and want of a some FUN!!!
We will be having a small battle with our lightsabers, some are not cheap so please be gentle, as we would not like to have them damaged.
Once as many of us are together as possible, we shall use the darkness to shroud ourselves and illuminate the night with our fun.
