Join us for the Second Annual McCormack's Beach Clean Up CITO weekend.
Last year, it took us less than an hour to clean this beach so this should be a lovely day.
Earn the 2015 CITO souvenir by lending a hand to improve the geocaching game board of McCormacks Beach Provincial Park and the entry way to McNabs Island. The day will be both fun and rewarding.
Everyone who logs an “Attended” at this Cache In Trash Out (CITO) event earns this year’s CITO souvenir for their Geocaching profile. So get ready for a classic win-win situation from the geocaching playbook.

The plan:
10:30 am - Arrive at McCormacks Beach parking lot, just past the driveway for Fisherman's Cove Village in Eastern Passage.
10:45 am - Get garbage bags, gloves, and start cleaning beach
11:45 am - Turn in all trash bags
12:00 - [OPTIONAL] Lunch at Boondocks Restaurant in Fisherman's Cove Village
12:30 - Awards
In order to make the day more fun, we will be giving away a few prizes on completion of the cleanup.
On this CITO weekend, thousands of geocachers will walk away from their events with bags of trash and a sense of pride. We are preserving the natural beauty of our world.
