Do you see the Monkey Face?
Being a kid at heart I still look for pictures and shapes in the clouds. While this cache is not in the clouds when I stood just west of it I saw a cartoon face that reminded me a little bit of Curious George.
This cache is on the west side of Saylorville lake. If you hike from the upper parking lot of Lakeview Boat Ramp area you have a good hike! Follow the trial until you get to the correct ridge and then it is deep in the woods. The large trees nearby are used by bald eagles when they are in the area, the ground had a lot of eagle droppings very near this cache. We walked to the point to look at the lake when the ice was going out and stopped counting at two hundred bald eagles!
This area also has a lot of deer and turkey.
