Asama Shrine, the biggest tree in Numazu! Traditional Cache

The cache can be found near the big tree.  Please bring your own pen or pencil! 

Asama Shrine is in Hanazonocho near the shinkansen track.  There is a park on the south side of the tracks that has parking available.  There is also Shizuoka bank and a Marutomo Supermarket where one could find parking if needed.  This shrine is a hidden treasure in Numazu city.  When looking at if from far away it looks like a little grove of trees near the shinkansen track, however when you enter it is just one giant tree.  There is a sign explaining that there are several trees like this in the area and that it is somewhere around 400 years old!  Its a really neat spot. The cache is hidden near the tree.  Please be respectful to this place, don't litter and pick up any trash you find.
