Team Hokulea: The Quarry Stairs from campus down to the Athletics Complex have been demolished in order to build a new stair system. So, this cache inevitably was demolished along with the stairs. The new stairs are to be completed in June, 2017..... Thanks to everyone who took the time to find this cache. After checking out the new structure later this year I'll see if there is something interesting to do there with a new hide.

Geocache Description:

In the 80's The StairMaster 5000 was a rotating staircase machine. In '84 the StairMaster 5000 was replaced with the StairMaster 6000 ergometer. Mechanically the StairMaster 6000 was virtually identical to its predecessor, but the 6000 displayed workout information on a CRT, printed a workout summary on a thermal printer, and included a heart rate monitor..

Yah, well, you won't need a StairMaster 6000 to know for sure that your heart rate has gone up on this cache!

You may Stair Master to this cache by climbing down approximately 84 steel stairs.

The cache is a small lock-n-lock container replete with interesting trade items given to me by the infamous cacher Chemist Kahuna, who is one of the finest cachers, and finest human beings, to ever wonder the Earth.
