Mežs atrodas pie bijušās rūpnīcas RAF un RAF dzīvojamo māju masīva. Caur to uz Ozolnieku skolu ved Vecais ceļš – vecā Jelgavas - Rīgas ceļa vieta, kas tagad ir iemīļota jelgavnieku atpūtas pastaigu vieta. Mežā pie a/s «Latvijas keramika» ir Otrā pasaules kara vācu un latviešu karavīru kapi. Mežā pie RAF bijušās rūpnīcas Aviācijas ielas galā ir apbedīti sarkanās armijas karagūstekņi, kas miruši Jelgavā gūstekņu nometnēs Otrā pasaules kara laikā.

Slēpnis satur logbuku un zīmuli.

Lūdzu, slēpni novietot tieši tajā vietā, kur tas bija iepriekš!
