I have been carrying this cache around for a week, looking for a good spot where there was a gap in the local caching map, and finally found this for GZ. I think we all like a cache in a nice recreation area so this fit the bill. Cambria Township is extremely proud of its several recreation areas. One of the area’s largest recreational areas is located off of route 422 near Revloc. This facility, built in conjunction with Cambria CoGen Company, was constructed in 1992. The 28+ acre facility has 1 regulation and 2 pony sized ball fields. 6 Pavilions have been built and can be rented throughout the summer. The park offers a variety of activities including volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, walking trails and children’s play areas. I hope you enjoy the location as much as I did.
I named this "1/8 Irish", since when I was preparing the cache container, it was almost St. Patrick's Day and I was reflecting on being 1/8 Irish. My mother's, maternal grandfather was a Donahey, and not sure if he was 100% Irish or not, but I always considered myself 1/8 Irish. Anyway, who isn't Irish on St.Patrick's Day.....RIGHT?
